Retail Store Vacancies - Retail Assistant
They require retail assistants who will be a required to offer knowledge and support to customers in a courteous manner as well as operating in house systems to process product sales and stock takes.

The role will suit candidates with an amicable personality and who thrives in a high quality fast paced environment. Prior retail experience at assistant or supervisor level would be an advantage. Applicants must be able to work flexible hours for the part time role, including weekends and possible late nights.

Principal Responsibilities:

Retail Assistant:

* Complete tasks delegated by the store supervisor in order to maintain an efficient running of the store at all times, following company policy and procedures.
* Supporting customers and other members of the team with sales advice, product support and knowledge.
* Selling to the general public assisting and advising on electronic cigarette enquiries and sales.
* Supporting the manager with store admin and staffing rotas and end of day cash manifests.
* Stock management and liaising with head office - In the absence of the store supervisor you will have full responsibility for the store.
* Store cleanliness and maintenance; as a retail assistant you must ensure any maintenance issues are reported to head office through your supervisor and the store is kept clean and tidy at all times.
* Personal hygiene is critical as a retail assistant with the handling of products at all times and in particular through demonstrations with customers.
* Adequate IT skills will be required, the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, email systems, the internet and you must also be adaptable to train to use in house systems.
* You may be required to train new staff along with the assistance and guidance of the store supervisor.

Retail Assistant Candidates must have:

* Retail experience.
* Customer Service experience.
* Experience working with the general public.
It is preferable that candidates live no more than a 15 mile radius of the store.

The position is subject to a 6 month probationary period.
