The Role

The successful Regional Manager will be core to the Company’s success and will take full responsibility for their region, encompassing the area from Shrewsbury across to Lichfield and as far South as Worcester.
• You will work closely across your region with Branch Managers and key personnel within each branch
• Work to maximise individual and team performance with a focus on supporting each branch’s performance
• Address and resolve operational challenges as and when they occur

The Person

If you have a track record of successful sales, customer service and multi-site management then this role could be for you. The successful Regional Manager will have the following skills, experience and expertise:
• A track record of successfully managing multi-site operations
• Experience of recognising the need for, and implementing, changes within a business environment
• Experience of maximising the potential within a business region to achieve branch and region objectives
• Committed to delivering the highest levels of customer focused service within a challenging market on behalf of a high profile organisation
• Able to demonstrate the flexibility and creativity required for a varied and challenging role
• Able to demonstrate a hands-on, basics-first approach
• Currently working in, or previous experience in, a sales management role
• Clear focus on managing customer service experience
• A full, valid driving licence

Based in its Head Office in Didsbury, Manchester the successful Business Development Executive will earn up to £20,000, depending on experience.

The role of the Business Development Executive is to maintain an excellent standard of communication between the company and both current and potential customers. Reporting to the Regional Manager your key duties will include but not limited to:

• Profile target partners to support the preparation of prospecting activities, identify suspects, build and maintain a database of key contacts
• Maintain information of in-country government and MoE requirements, as defined by the Regional Manager
• Conduct competitive market research to support regional sales activities
• Responsible for prospecting target partners within the region, to include cold calling, lead qualification
• Route and assign qualified leads to Regional Manager for future action
• Work with the appropriate head office teams and ensure that the correct processes are followed with regard to new contracts and the setting up of new centres on internal systems
• In conjunction with the Finance Department resolve invoicing queries that require input from the Regional Manager
• Liaise with the Academic function and assist new centres in preparing paperwork for accreditation
• Deal with assigned sales activities, as determined by the Regional Manager, to grow business with existing centres (new products and increase student numbers etc.)
• Provide support to the Regional Manager for the creation of ad-hoc sales presentations and proposal documentation

The successful Business Development Manager will possess the following skills and experience:

• Degree qualification desirable
• Experience of face to face selling/telesales/prospecting, ideally in a B2B environment
• Experience in working to set targets and focused on delivering results with the ability to consistently follow processes
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) as well as search engines and how to research/prospect using the internet
• Additional European language skills desirable (Spanish or Portuguese)
• Excellent communication, presentation and organisation skills
• Possess a confident, professional and effective telephone manner with the ability to converse with senior decision makers and key influencers with ease
• Excellent written communications skills, able to articulate a sales proposition and interact professionally and effectively via all mediums
• Detail oriented and able to analyse information and data and draw conclusions
