Job Description

1. Carries out duties/procedures that are detailed in our Food Safety & Quality and HACCP Manual and those pertaining to BRC- including daily QA/QC monitoring, Equipment Calibrations and Internal GMP Audits.
2. Maintains the Technical systems in the absence of other key Technical staff.
3. Assist in training for all production and operation policies and procedures.
4. Suggest methods for improving product quality or design, or manufacturing processes.
5. Establishing strong working relations with departmental Managers and Supervisors.
6. Helps maintain Good Manufacturing Practices throughout the manufacturing process.
7. Help make key Technical decisions on Technical issues in the absence of the Technical Supervisor and/or Manager.

Knowledge & Skills:

Excellent problem solving skills
HACCP/BRC/GMP awareness
Fundamentals of HACCP Certification (Training) ideal, but not essential
Good numeracy, literacy and Computer skills
