You will carry out regular estate inspections and follow up any action that may need to be taken.

Working closely with the cleaning and grounds maintenance contractor to ensure an effective service is delivered, you will also work with the allocations team to facilitate the speedy re-let of any vacant properties.

Assisting in the collection of rent, you will adhere to all policies and procedures, contributing to any development or change

Candidate Requirements:
For the role of Housing Officer the ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Housing Officer, be educated to A Level or equivalent and have good knowledge of housing policies and laws.

With an understanding of equal opportunities, you will be an excellent communicator, both written and verbal, and have the ability to prioritise your work.

As a good timekeeper, you will meet deadlines and understand customer needs in order to provide an excellent service.

It is essential that you have experience of housing management and tenant liaison.

Due to the travel involved with this role, you must hold a full drivers license and be available to attend evening meetings out of the normal office hours.

Due to the nature of the role you will need to be able to deal with a wide range of people with diplomacy, discretion and sensitivity.
