Job Purpose

To assist in achieving the production planned on a daily basis.

Manufacture product to the highest quality standard and with compliance with the set GMP & Health and Safety guidelines.

Main duties of the role:

- Manufacture product to high standard ensuring the quality of those products is in accordance with the set GMP standards and Standard Operating Procedures.

- Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

- Attend and comply with any planned in-house training or on the job training.

- Ensure the efficient and safe use of plant and equipment.

- Keep strictly to manufacturing methods as laid down in the documentation.

- Ensure all equipment is clean and maintained in good working order by informing the Manufacturing Manager, Team Leader or Supervisor of any faults.

- Help maintain the highest standards of Housekeeping, Cleanliness and Personal Hygiene within the department.

- Notify Manufacturing Manager, Team Leader or Supervisor as a matter of urgency if there has been any serious failure of safety or GMP which could affect staff safety or product quality.

Key Results Areas:

- Production of high quality products.

- Maintaining GMP and Health & Safety at all times

- Minimise product losses and maximise yields.

Starting salary will be £7.59 with a shift allowance of 7%, as standard working hours will be 6am-2pm Monday to Friday. Our salary scale is progressive, meaning that you will be able to move up the payscale as your skills develop.

Job Qualifications / Requirements

- Ideally BS or MS in Engineering, Industrial Management or an equivalent qualification, MBA preferred.
- Experience in operating a manufacturing facility with knowledge of Lean Engineering, BOM and MRP systems.
- At least 10 years of manufacturing experience and expertise.
