JOB SUMMARY:
Our client is currently looking for Management Accountant who would take full responsibility of all areas relating to Finance and Accounting. The right candidate will be reporting for all group entities worldwide including managing the accounting ledgers to produce accurate and timely accounts on a monthly, quarterly, annual basis with P&L and balance sheet reconciliations with commentary.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• The role is hands-on, processing month end journals including accruals and prepayments, cost and revenue preparation and analysis.

• You will be required to prepare quarterly VAT returns.

• Responsible for maintaining fixed asset schedule for all group entities.

• Inter-company balance process and reconciliations.
• Continued assessment of current processes and manage internal controls.

• Optimisation of systems by evaluation and development including implementation of agreed changes.

• You will be actively involved with preparation of year-end audit and statutory financial statements.

• Compare and analyse budgets and forecast with actual and provide variance analyses.

REQUIREMENTS:
• You will be qualified/part-qualified (ACCA / CIMA)
• Good bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance from a recognised university
• Background of working in a similar position with at least 2 years of Accounting experience
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required
• Advanced knowledge of Sage and MS-Excel with experience of analysing data
• Professional and positive approach
• Proactive and solution focused approach
• Able to work as part of a team or on own initiative
• Good communication skills
