An opportunity has arisen in the Quality Control department. The primary
function will be to contribute to the support of a busy laboratory with more
specific details as below:

• To be aware of and act in accordance with all safety precautions and
GMP requirements relevant to the task being performed.
• Periodic equipment checks and calibrations to GMP standards.
• Preparation of buffers for analytical methods to GMP standards.
• Glassware management for analytical methods.
• Dispensing and control of lab reagents and standards.
• Performance and monitoring of area housekeeping activities, including
the prompt reporting of problems, shortages or equipment breakdowns.

• To attend GMP training sessions and ensure training file is maintained.

To be considered for this role you will possess a good level of literacy and
numeracy for the completion of GMP documents. A practical aptitude is

workload with minimal supervision and deliver to set deadlines.

Some hands-on laboratory experience would be beneficial, although full
training will be provided.
This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, based in Slough.

As a result of continued growth we are now looking for an organised individual to join our team as a Laboratory Support Aide .

This role involves the removal of hazardous waste from laboratories on a daily basis, co-ordinating receipt of goods against departmental inventories and distributing goods to relevant departments. You will also be responsible for logging all deliveries and liaising with departments to create orders for solvent and other chemical stocks.

As a Laboratory Support A i de, you must be able to adopt a flexible approach to work and react effectively to a rapidly changing environment. You will have the ability to work well in a team as well as using your own initiative while keeping laboratories fully stocked with the appropriate amount of solvents.
