Our client owns well established brands in connectors, precision instrumentation and monitoring / control and has ambitious plans for new product development and global sales expansion.

They now have an opportunity for an experienced Electronics Engineer to be responsible for the development of electronics systems for their instrumentation and monitoring/control products.

You will be able to design low power digital and analogue systems using embedded microprocessors operating at up to 1GHz, FPGAs and standard communications interfaces such as USB and Ethernet. Working with multidisciplinary teams, you will deliver robust system solutions and products ready for manufacture as well as being involved with other functions to ensure products meet market and production requirements.

With a degree in Electronics, or equivalent, you will have proven experience in the successful design of analogue and digital electronics in a commercial environment. You will have experience in high speed digital design; schematic design with knowledge of circuit simulation; and analysis, testing and evaluation, as well as being conversant with a range of microprocessor architectures including 16-bit µP, PIC and ARM.

They are looking for an analytical thinker with excellent problem solving, communication and documentation skills. You will have the ability to deliver to tight deadlines working alone or as part of a team and read, write and speak fluent English.
