Job Role:

The main purpose of the Debt Sales Advisor role is to take calls from people seeking help and advice on serious debt problems. This will include examining their financial details and assisting customers on how best to proceed with their individual debt problems, whilst maximising up and cross sell.

The position is for inbound and outbound activity and you will be required to complete the initial financial assessment, promote the most appropriate solution with features and benefits, advise of the process and finally guide the customer through returning the application pack.

Key Responsibilities:

* To provide empathy, support and guidance to each person who calls
* To use company systems to record each caller's details
* To act as an ambassador for the company
* To gather income, expenditure, debt and other financial and personal information that is relevant to the customer's situation.
* To explain the benefits and the practicalities of the solutions most appropriate to that customer
* To help the customer understand the best route out of their situation and explain and guide them through the steps they need to take in order to do this
* To ensure any customers who sign up to our services follow through the steps we give them in order that we can start providing any solution in the quickest possible time
* Complete the pack return process and where applicable payments
* To adhere to data protection and money laundering acts
* To adhere to the companies Treating Customers Fairly policy

Skills / Experience Required:

* The ability to work in a team
* Extensive Sales experience gained within a target driven environment (this does not necessarily need to be call-centre based, however this would be an advantage)
* Good listening skills
* Excellent telephone manner with rapport building skills
* Good keyboard/ IT skills
* Pro-active performer
* Excellent communication skills.

The company has been established for around 4 years and deal with both debt and claims management, there are two teams in the office one that deals with a client base of around 700-800 clients on debt management plans.

The claims team that I run work on claiming back any mis-sold PPI, unfair charges and assessing the enforce-ability of the client’s credit agreements on the client’s behalf.

The claims team deal with One Tick clients and are also an appointed agent of Expert Money Solutions so we also complete claims on behalf of many of their clients also.

We're looking to recruit an additional six Data Verifiers to join our dynamic department. The Plan Activations team receives over 4,200 customer documents per month; they handle over 6,000 calls per month and activate just under 4,000 debt solution plans each and every month. Meaning you'll manage and collate all essential paperwork required to set up and activate debt management plans. This will include handling calls, dealing with emails and acknowledging letters.

Data Verifiers will have direct contact with clients by phone, email and letter to gather essential information such as:

- Account numbers

- Proof of income

- Checking account balances / credit card statements

The Data Verifier role may be for you if you have:

- A keen eye for detail

- Confidence in dealing with numbers

- Experience in a customer service environment

- A confident telephone manner

- High levels of personal motivation and initiative

- Exceptional organisation and prioritisation skills

Full technical training will be provided so experience in a similar position is not required. A good working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word and Excel is essential.

The start date for these positions will be Monday 9th June 2014 and candidates will be required to attend a mandatory 3 week training course.

The roles are based in Leeds City Centre, flexibility is required to work the following shifts; 9am to 5pm / 10am to 6pm / 12pm to 8pm.
