The Role:

Your role will be accurate population and maintenance of the MAYTAS Learning Management System

Key Responsibilities:

- To provide reports and data analysis as required by Directors and Senior Management
- To become the key company contact for all queries relating to MAYTAS including proving ad-hoc training to staff as required
- To use knowledge and understanding of MAYTAS to develop effective solutions to the demands of the business
- To be aware of and uphold data protection laws in all aspects of working practice
- To assist Head Office with administrative reporting and tracking requirements as required
- At management’s discretion, you may be required at times to undertake additional duties as demanded by the needs of the business

Essential attributes:

- Has strong experience of working with databases and management systems
- Has a logical and process driven approach to work
- Is able to confidently use Microsoft Excel and email and is experienced in other programmes
- Is able to spend long periods of time on data entry tasks and has high attention to detail and data input accuracy
- Is educated to A-Level with A-C grades in English and Maths GCSE
- Is flexible and able to learn new skills/ information quickly
- Is able to problem solve and use initiative when required
- Works well under pressure and is able to meet tight deadlines
- Is able to work independently
- Is proactive and seeks to plan ahead and improve systems
- Takes a positive, responsible and committed approach to work

Desirable attributes:

- Has experience of MAYTAS or a similar learning management system
- Has experience of the skills training/apprenticeship sector or other educational environment
- Has a relevant qualification

Job Role:

Our client is recruiting for a Database Administrator to provide general administrative support within the Product Inventory department.

Your Main Duties and Responsibilities will be:

* Accurately loading information onto the inhouse system (ATOP), Viewdata and website.
* Providing support and answering queries from internal and external customers.
* Updating and maintaining contractual/Pricing/accommodation information on all systems.
* Checking invoice calculations both manually and online.
* General administration duties.

The Ideal Candidate:

The role within the Product Inventory department is very responsible and requires a high degree of concentration and use of initiative. Candidates are working on essentially a "live" database, so experience in attention to detail and working accurately and methodically are necessary qualities for the role. Ideally with previous experience of working within a database input department within travel. Knowledge of setting up and creating databases is not required, but experience of working with computers and having familiarity with a number of systems (particularly MS Excel and preferably Access) would be advantageous.

* Ideally previous experience of working within a database input department within travel.
