Reporting to the Customer Services Manager - Cruise, the role purpose is to provide support to achieve the overall team objective to provide excellent customer service support for Ocean cruise brands, covering pre cruise, onboard and post cruise complaints.

Responsibilities will include assisting with the coaching and training of the team, provide customers on Ocean Cruise brands with a high level of care and service throughout the brand experience, and assisting in the maintenance of a workflow overview, ensuring deadlines of the team are achieved.

The Senior Customer Services Executive - Cruise will need to have;

- Education to A-level or equivalent study

- Minimum of two years' experience within a Customer Service role

- Experience of working in a target driven environment

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Extensive travel and cruising experience (preferred)

- An enthusiastic and motivated approach with good attention to detail

- Good time-keeping and punctuality

- Experience of NVS reservations system (desirable)

- First-rate letter writing expertise regarding handling travel related complaints

The Senior Customer Services Executive - Cruise role is a permanent full time position working during the core hours of the business 9am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday. Extended working hours will be required at times to meet the needs of the business.

- Build the relationship with the Client to ensure all necessary management information required is provided in a timely manner

- Ensure fund requests are prepared on the basis of the known liabilities falling due with the period to the next scheduled fund request so that all commitments paid within the agreed terms
- Financial reporting to Clients – review of all accounting reports prior to distribution
- Variance reporting including quarterly forecasts
- Fleet liability reporting – review and comment on the report prior to submission
- Monitoring of outstanding invoices
- Liaison with Client auditors

The Person:

It is preferable that you are ACCA / CIMA qualified or working towards qualification or be qualified through experience.

You will possess excellent spoken and written communication skills, an accurate and methodical approach to work, good organisational skills and have the ability to work to tight deadlines.
