They develop and deliver a comprehensive suite of award-winning software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions that turn Retailer “downstream data”, such as point-of-sale (POS), supply chain, merchandiser feedback and category data, into actionable visibility into the store and onto the shelf for their suppliers.

Consultant Job Description

The Consultant is responsible for driving all phases of the company's most strategic customer projects, primarily related to out-of-stock reduction and improved promotion execution - from statement of work definition to project completion. These highly visible projects are typically sponsored by Vice Presidents at the world’s very largest consumer products manufacturers and often involve collaborative work with their retail partners.

Primary Responsibilities

- Lead collaborative strategic projects with key customers using their software and analytical techniques to quantify the extent of lost sales due to out-of-stocks and/or poor promotion execution along with measures of their primary failure modes and root causes
- Create value in their customers’ businesses by enabling them to run hugely successful promotions, new launches and range reviews
- Manage customer expectations and company deliverables while maintaining the continuously high customer satisfaction that the company is known for
- Capture feedback from customer engagements to continuously improve their service offerings and drive requirements definition for enhancing their analytic applications

Skills and Experience Required

- Bachelor’s Degree+ in a Business, Maths, Economics or related discipline
- Relevant experience in supply chain, operations or category management in the consumer products or retail industries a significant plus
- Experience working with CPG manufactures or retailers, either at the companies themselves, or services clients in these industries in agency-side role(s)
- Strong analytical and data analysis skills demonstrated by experience and references
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong presentation skills, particularly with customers present
- Excellent people skills
- Software skills such as Excel (required), Access, VBA, SQL, Monte Carlo Simulation, Matlab, etc. are highly valued

You will work flexibly to cover the Intensive Care Unit with day time sessions and on call at night and the weekends, alongside 7 colleagues. The Intensive Care consultants work in pairs covering a whole week every 4 weeks. Outside of Intensive Care weeks the post holder will work flexibly to cover theatre lists across a broad range of specialties

To be considered for the post you must hold FRCA or equivalent and full GMC registration. Inclusion on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council in Anaesthesia is desirable.
