The Development Sales Engineer Role:
As Development Sales Engineer you will lead and manage our business and product development efforts in the automotive market, having full responsibility for the UK in this sector. This effort will be focused on automotive OEMs and throughout the supply chain to encompass anybody designing and/or producing automotive components. This will be your priority. Added to this, you will be helping non-automotive customers develop new products, solve technical problems. You will be home based and predominantly customer-facing. The ideal candidate would be located in the Midlands area; however we can be flexible on geography for the right person.

We are Looking For:
> A background in thermoplastic materials coupled with a good level of knowledge and experience of injection moulding and extrusion. This would be supported by a degree or HNC/HND level qualification in a polymer related subject, although we will also consider relevant experience. Come and show us!
> Knowledge and experience in material selection, part design and product development
> A strong knowledge and understanding of successful product development and application development in the automotive market, the supply chain, approvals, terminology and structure
> Be able to demonstrate successful product development with automotive OEMs and their suppliers
> The ability to drive your own projects, creating and finding opportunities, and managing them through to commercialisation, meeting agreed business targets.
> Energy, enthusiasm, strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills are a must, along with a sense of fun and passion
