They are looking for enthusiastic engineers to join their expanding installation team. The installation engineers will be working on projects across Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen City and should be ready for an immediate start.

Engineers duties:

* Working alone or within a team of engineers
* Installing steelwork on buildings
* Running cables through from antenna through building to comms room
* Hanging antennas
* Configuring wireless links
* Buildings surveys and line of sight surveys

Musts/desirables:

* Full clean driving licence
* IPAF 1b certificate highly desirable
* Full CRB check
* Experience with wireless point to point and point to multipoint links would be of benefit
* Knowledge of Cisco configurations would also be beneficial

This Mechanical Project Engineer researches, designs, and develops a variety of components in line with specifications, design, development and production of satellite antenna systems, including text fixtures and production equipment with an eye towards commercial manufacture. The individual will work with a variety of suppliers to integrate and optimize product offerings.

You will have:

• BEng / BSc in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum of 5-7 years of work experience involving the use of Mechanical Engineering principles and practices in design in satellite systems, RF design, RF electronics
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes including plastic moulding, die casting and stamping
• Selection of materials including thermoplastic and thermo-set materials, steels and non-ferrous materials
• Proficiency in solid modeling software – preferably SolidWorks or similar 3-d solid modeling system i.e. Pro/Engineer
• Experience of prototyping techniques
• Stress analysis using FEA and hand calculations. Experience with Ansys Workbench preferable

Our client has a unique opportunity for a Principal RF/Analog IC Design Engineer to join an existing team of highly motivated and creative design experts based along the M4 corridor in the UK.

Working on fascinating and cutting edge technology involved short-range data communication and Near Field Communications (NFC) product lines as well as Bluetooth & Wireless LAN, you will be responsible for the design of NFC radio developments in deep submicron CMOS technology.

You will be involved in the design of Analog/RF IC blocks such as; power amplifiers, low-noise amplifiers, mixers, PLLs, rectifiers, regulators, synthesizers and IF filters.

A major responsibility is RF architecture design involving the magnetic air interface definition and involvement in NFC antenna design including the definition of key performance parameters.

The successful Principal Analog/RF IC Design Engineer will have established and proven experience in Analog and/or RF IC Design with specific expertise on RF CMOS design.
