Our client is a Residential and Training and Management centre based in Oxfordshire who are looking for a Live-In Couple to work at the hotel. There are two roles available at the hotel

1 x Commis Chef and 1 x General Assistant.

Your main responsibilities as General Assistant will include: Salary £13,125 per annum

• To carry out breakfast, lunch and dinner service.
• To help set up coffee and tea provision throughout the day.

• Ensures freshness and suitability of products used by the section

We are looking for individuals who possess the following attributes:

• Customer focused – the facility is used by corporate clients and also a wedding venue.
• Multi tasks while working independently
• Ideally, experience of working in the hospitality industry – bar, restaurant and housekeeping
• Ideally you will hold Food Hygiene, Fire Marshall & First Aid certificates however full training will be provided

The hours of work are 40 over a seven day period which will include early morning starts and late night finishes, working a split shift pattern

In return, they offer live-in accommodation with food provided.

Whilst the role will be predominantly payroll, you may also be involved in health and wellbeing initiatives for Sport Wales employees and any ad hoc HR projects as necessary.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience of working successfully within a similar role, and will possess a relevant qualification such as CIPP, CIPD or equivalent. Advanced IT and numeracy skills are essential to enable you to maintain accurate pay records, and the ability to work effectively to tight deadlines will also be key. You will have excellent customer service skills, excellent attention to detail, as well as up-to-date knowledge of pay and benefit legislation and best practice.

The restaurant is a 120 cover restaurant and the successful applicant will need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to ensure that all guests are made to feel extremely welcome; the guests comfort will be paramount in this role and the manager needs to ensure that their needs are catered for in every way

Based on 40 hours over 5 days, including weekends. Shifts will be a mixture of earlys, lates and splits.
