Our client has recently acquired Ascot Doors, which is made up of 11 depots across the UK. Our client requires a Service Co-ordinator in Bolton to support the service team and to plan and respond to routine and emergency maintenance and repair service requests.

You will have a minimum of 2 to 3 years industry experience, preferably from a variety of customer service, sales and/or pricing backgrounds. You will have superb communication skills, both written and verbal, and have a proven track record of prioritising your workload and working to deadlines. You will have a sales focused approach to business and be able to demonstrate where you have worked to targets.

In this role you will be handling breakdown calls and scheduling work for the technicians on a priority basis. You will be preparing “uplifts” (verbal quotations) upon receipt of service reports from the Technicians and following these up with customers in a timely manner. You will be required to generate new sales orders and prepare service proposals.

You will serve as the liaison between customers and suppliers, ordering materials and plant as required, and be responsible for resolving complaints and flagging issues where necessary. Part of your role will also be to monitor the attendance, timekeeping, work load and productivity of your engineers.

Communication and customer satisfaction are key aspects to this role

You will be based at the Ascot office in Bolton and report directly to the Depot Manager.

Due to an enhanced level of automation in our pharmaceutical client’s Birmingham Depot they are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed experienced Warehouse Technician who can deliver a challenging agenda across a three shift operation between 06:00 and 02:00.

Reporting to the Depot Manager and Group Technician, you will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance, breakdown cover and defect repair on all aspects of this state of the art facility as well as the building service plant.

Maintaining high volume picking and packing machinery you will assist in the supervision and control of all mechanical or electrical operations. Additionally you will maintain and contribute to the various building service contracts and generating paperwork to keep up to date records of all maintenance work and spares all in line with health and safety legislation.

The ideal candidate should have a broad based Electrical / Mechanical Engineering background with relevant qualifications for the role. Due diligence and attention to detail are essential for this position and you must also demonstrate your ability to work independently and remain highly motivated in the role.

The shifts will be on weekly rotating shifts with alternating Sundays. You will need to be flexible in your approach to your working hours and have a full driving licence for use in the UK as this role will require you to occasionally technically support other depots.
