2 Annualised Hours Tutors to deliver Functional Skills, one vacancy is 18.75 hours per week over 46 weeks which equates to 862.5 hours per annum and the other vacancy is 11.75 hours per week over 46 weeks which equates to 540.5 hours per annum.

1 Annualised Hours Tutor to deliver IT: 6.25 hours per week over 46 weeks which equates to 6.25 hours per week over 46 weeks which equates to 287.5 hours per annum.

The purpose of these roles is to teach, develop and deliver high quality learner focused education to meet contractual requirements and standards. The role will involve the development of lesson plans based around curriculum best practice and quality targets and ensuring the safeguarding of learners.

The successful candidates will be offered an Annualised Hours contract. The contract will provide candidates with 12 equal payments over the calendar year, holiday entitlement and eligibility to occupational sick pay.

Candidates must hold a teaching qualification (Cert Ed/PGCE) or equivalent OR a subject specialist qualification at degree level or equivalent with a commitment to obtain the outstanding qualification within a specified timescale. The post holder must also have relevant teaching experience.

To succeed within these roles, candidates will need to have a pragmatic and non-judgmental approach to their work and the flexibility to adapt to meet learner requirements when necessary.
