The Role

Working with the senior Project/Office Management team to maintain a high level of organisation across the entire institution, including providing your PM services to the wider company on any IT related projects or investments. You will work to develop the PM framework for the client and provide expert input to ensure these methods are kept relevant and up to date, this will include any documentation/development of key policies. To effectively work as a team, all the Project Managers are expected to communicate and share best practise, allowing the most efficient methods to be implemented throughout.



The Person

Qualifications

· Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject OR experience in a relevant role that would be comparable

· Project Management qualification (APM, PRINCE 2 etc.)

Experience

· Experience in dealing and negotiating with a range of colleagues or stakeholders while ensuring the project is delivered to a high standard and within budget

· Experience in successfully leading teams of staff applied to PM functions

· Previous experience of multi-project management in an IT environment that deliver clear results and change (a range of complex and more simple projects ideally)

· Experience in using project management software

· Expert knowledge of databases and enterprise class systems

Soft Skills

· Excellent leadership skills - including prioritisation and organisation of delegated tasks

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to convey key messages

· Strong communication skills including the ability to deliver a strong presentation

· Flexibility with regards to working hours during some key projects

· Innovative, pro-active and resilient when leading a team



The Package

· £28-£32k p.a. starting salary

· 26 days holiday per year, plus statutory.
