Graduate PHP / WordPress Web Application Developer - home based position. We are looking for a keen, bright, ideally Graduate PHP Programmer who has demonstrable WordPress skills. Experience in programming using PHP / MySQL and integration of web based API services is essential. You will be very familiar with PHP coding and should be capable of building WordPress plugins that use external services and technologies.

You should be able to develop front end HTML, CSS and javascript (JQuery) to be able to deliver smaller projects from beginning to end. The technical team use Linux, Amazon Web Services EC2 and Bash scripting during the course of their day-to-day projects, so these skills would also be valued. The Company create bespoke applications using a variety of technologies and API's - all of which you will have the opportunity to be involved with.

The role is based from home and you will be part of a tightly knit team keeping in frequent contact via Skype and email. Being self-motivated, organised and flexible regarding your working hours is key to fitting in with their company ethos. Indeed the nature of the role may require 'out of hours' working to resolve live system issues.

A bonus (not essential) would be any experience of LAMP stack administration as well as Git version control. These gaps can be filled on the job, the successful candidate will be fortunate to benefit from the experience of the small but highly skilled technical team.

About the Company: They work with leading media and entertainment clients to deliver, manage & maintain WordPress platforms which are used to run consumer facing sites.
