£22,000 - £30,000 depending on experience

Maintenance Fitter / Engineer required to work within a diverse manufacturing environment incorporating electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, MIG/TIG welding, CNC/PLC, conveyorised and automated manufacturing facilities.

The successful candidate would be required to perform preventative, fault finding and emergency breakdown maintenance procedures to minimise any manufacturing down time. This vacancy is notionally for a day shift position; however a flexible approach to a change of day shift working patterns to cover breakdowns and some installation work would be required together with some limited and pre-planned weekend work as and when required.

Consideration would be given to candidates that can demonstrate a depth of knowledge and experience gained as either a skilled mechanical fitter or as an industrial electrician who have then subsequently acquired a demonstrable range of additional and varied skills.

With strong analytical and organisational skills and be able to interpret and analyse data and be competent in Microsoft Office applications. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with time-management.

Due to the nature of this position, you will need access to a car as regular travel will be required. You will need to have a flexible approach to hours and occasional overnight stays; weekend or evening work may be required.
