As a (Trainee) Account Manager you will be required to work on the client’s site, creating, maintaining, and enhancing the customer relationship. Main Duties and Responsibilities

- Implementing traffic light system and measuring onsite productivity
- Opening files and archiving files
- creating weekly/monthly reports for the client
- Dealing with telephone enquiries
- Building a good relationship with the client in order to gain a better understanding of their recruitment needs and requirements
- Drafting and advertising job vacancies on all available media (websites, newspapers etc)
- Screening and registering candidates
- Interviewing
- Completing a search on company’s database in order to find candidates suitable for the client’s vacancy
- Briefing candidates about the responsibilities, salary and benefits of the job
- Carrying out and keeping record of all on-site inductions

 

Requirements

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential
- The ability to work to deadlines is essential
- Strong motivational, innovative and interpersonal skills
- Initiative, drive and enthusiasm
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Good communication skills at all levels
- The ability to work calmly under pressure
- The ability to speak Polish is advantageous

Elliott Brothers Ltd is the most successful Builders Merchants in Hampshire Established since 1842, with 11 branches and a 40million turnover, still family-owned today.

Due to our recent success and growth we are now looking to recruit a Key Account Sales Supervisor in Southampton.

This role is based in the biggest branch in our network, operating 9 lorries, with a £9 million annual turnover. The branch is also based at our Head Office.

The successful Key Account Sales Supervisor will be responsible for the following:

The Key Account Sales Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision and business development of our key account customers, demonstrating leadership in organising and planning strategy to achieve targets and maintain high levels of customer service.

You will need to be proactive and able to build relationships with buyers and site managers; this will include visiting sites when necessary. You will be producing schedules and quotes as required, negotiating with suppliers and meeting strict deadlines. This will require knowledge of how to interpret building plans.



Other responsibilities will include:

Supervising staff as required, this will include delegation, training and coaching colleagues in product knowledge, branch procedures and generally supporting management with instilling a customer focused and efficient service throughout the branch.

You will also act as Duty Manager on occasion, being responsible for management decisions in the absence of Branch/Trading Managers along with the opening and closing of the branch.



The ideal candidate:

It is essential that the ideal candidate have Excellent building product knowledge



This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, a high standard of I.T. skills and the ability to competently manage your time and prioritise accordingly. You will also need to be able to interpret building plans.



This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to work at our biggest branch, with some of Elliott’s key customers, and with the inclusion of the Duty Manager responsibilities it provides a great first step towards a management position.

7. 30-5.00 Monday to Friday, plus Saturday mornings
