SCOPE OF JOB:

- Design and deliver training to support the training needs of learners of contractual requirements

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

In the 21st century, they have developed a revolutionary range of re-usable security seals which can be applied to a wide array of products; from airline catering trolleys and Duty Free cases to cash in transit, couriers and other transportation.

Their business is continuously evolving and as a result, they are looking to recruit a Process and Tooling Engineer to join their existing team. This is a first line active role in the process optimisation of existing and new production lines.

Purpose of job:

To implement and develop tooling management, optimisation and preventative maintenance programs, ensuring tool performance and product quality are maintained to the highest standards.

The right candidate will manage, train and develop an existing team of four Injection Moulding Technicians who work a rotating 12 hour work pattern.

Candidates must:

* Have a strong Tool making and Plastic Injection Moulding background
* Be able to demonstrate hands on experience with trials, analysis of samples and first offs
* Have a keen eye and attention to detail
* Demonstrate proven experience in a manufacturing engineering environment with a confirmed track record of improving performance
* Be results orientated, self motivated and be able to influence these behaviours within their team
* Have the determination to succeed and have a high degree of flexibility
* Be proficient on computers (Microsoft Word and Excel) and have some familiarity with CAD technology (Solidworks)

In return the company offers a competitive salary plus bonus, 22 days holiday per year rising to 26 days over a 6 year period and contributory pension scheme. Hours of work are 9am - 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 5pm on Fridays.
