Scotland’s Colleges have gone through significant change over the last year moving to a regional focus. This approach allows colleges to combine their teaching expertise to better support students, communities, staff and employers, and creating opportunities for all to thrive.
Each of the college regions is working to strengthen what they offer to students and to local and regional employers to drive the Scottish economy forward as a whole.
Colleges have a hugely important role in growing our local and national economies by developing people’s skills in line with the needs of employers and preparing them for work.
These changes are opening up a significant number of opportunities across Scotland for suitably experienced and qualified individuals to join colleges as Vocational Trainers/ Lecturers to help develop the future workforce.
Industrial Experience is as important as a formal qualification and there’s no requirement for a formal teaching qualification or teaching experience.
