Our client is looking for either 1 x Full time person or 2 x Part time people to cover a vacancy at their office in Portsmouth, Hampshire.

The role would be either:

1 x Part Time Education Administrator circa 20 hours per week. Hours are flexible but preferably 9am – 1pm or 10am – 2pm Monday – Friday.

Or

1 x Part Time Employer Engagement Executive. Hours 10am – 3pm Monday – Friday.

Or

1 x Full Time person to cover both of the roles mentioned above so part of your day would involve Administration and the other part would involve Employer Engagement / Sales Activities.
Administration

The Administration part of the role will require someone with knowledge and experience of the Education sector, specifically Apprenticeships and Work Based Learning.

You will need to have excellent attention to detail and the ability to check your work and ensure that it is free from mistakes.

You will be involved in processing and entering all Apprenticeship starts, leavers and completions in line with company and SFA time scales each month.

The role will also involve processing learner Registrations, certificates and Framework certificates ensure that they are accurate and processed within a timeframes.

An understanding of Quality Improvement, due diligence or tendering processes would be very useful.

Previous experience working as an Administrator within a Training Provider or College would be very advantageous as it is preferred that candidates are familiar with the Apprenticeship Administration and paperwork.

Employer Engagement

This role will involve a lot of cold calling to speak to business about Apprenticeships and other Training requirements so the ability build relationships quickly and effectively is essential. Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to work effectively within telesales and also in a face to face capacity. You will be cold and warm calling and generating your own leads.

The company specialise within the Health and Social Care, Childcare and Youth service sectors so you could be contacting nurseries, care homes and any environment where people could undertake training or qualifications in those specialist sectors.

It is preferred that candidates have experience and knowledge of WBL, Apprenticeships or training.

Duties will include;

- Contacting businesses about the services the company has to offer including providing information, advice and guidance on Apprenticeships.
- Cold calling, mainly on the telephone. You will be responsible for generating your own leads and developing relationships with clients.
- Maintaining records and databases making sure that all information is up to date.

There is a bonus which is payable on Apprentice sign ups. This is £50 for 16 – 18 year old learners and £25 for 19 – 23 year old learners.

To Apply

The company are very flexible and would like the right people for the job to help their business grow. There is flexibility on full or part time hours dependant on your own requirements and experience. The salary is up to £16k per annum and will be pro rata for part time hours.

Location: Office based in Portsmouth, Hampshire
Hours: Dependant on experience. Full time Admin + Employer Engagement OR Part time Admin only OR Part time Employer Engagement only
Holiday: 28 days including 8 days bank holiday. Pro rata if applicable
Salary: Up to £16,000 per annum, this would be pro rata dependant on role taken. Bonus is available for the Employer Engagement role.
