Job Summary: To provide data processing and administration support and services to the business and its customers.
JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
General
• Handle incoming telephone calls to the required standard as appropriate.
• Process the incoming and outgoing mail as appropriate.
• Scanning of paperwork for the various functions of the division
• Assisting with the preparation of paperwork for internal and external meetings

• Quality assuring the accuracy and completeness of registration/certification paperwork
• Completing data for the monthly risk-rating analysis
• Locating ULNs for delegates
• Uploading achievements onto the Personal Learning Record Service database
• Providing assistance to the Technical Administrator and Schemes Manager as required

PERSON SPECIFICATION
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS

They are recognised as the gold standard in the industry, supplying innovative products and system solutions to the UK's highest quality manufacturing, plant hire and construction businesses.

Their Nottingham office has a vacancy for an experienced Service Engineer to complement their existing service department. The position will support their portable range of diesel powered compressed air products as well as their electrical industrial compressed air products and include the maintenance, repair and installation of this equipment.

The Successful Candidate will have:

- Formal technical training by means of apprenticeship or equivalent.

- Experience in maintenance of diesel engine systems from 14kw to 450kw (Kubota, Deutz, Caterpillar engines an advantage).

- Experience in 12 volt DC powered control systems.

- Ideally, experience in compressed air systems (max 15 bar).

- Ideally, experienced in 440 volt 3 phase and 240 volt 1 phase electrics.

- Excellent fault diagnostic skills and ability to work on their own initiative.

- Flexible in undertaking various tasks necessary.

- Ability to work safely and unsupervised.

- Good communication skills.

Working a 45 hours a week, the successful candidate must have a flexible approach to working hours, including travelling to customers and must be prepared to work away from home and travel nationally when required.

Available for emergency out of hours duty as per call out rota.

A current driving licences is essential, preferably with towing band Cats B/E.
