Our pharmacy client are looking for a Category Manager to optimise their over the counter (OTC) product sales and gate fees. The successful candidate will be joining an expanding Marketing team based at the head office in Runcorn.

Within this role, you will be required to analyse market data and outline the direction of OTC purchasing. You will meet with, and build good business relationships with key suppliers as well as monitoring and reviewing performance. Attending monthly promotional meetings, you will aim to secure funding for all promotional activity and monitor sales in-store ensuring that sales are maximised.

The successful candidate will be educated to a good standard. Ideally you should also hold a business relevant degree such as Retail management or Sales & Marketing although this is not essential. You will need to enhance your awareness of category insight from market data on a regular basis, possess good negotiation and influencing skills. Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Retail industry would be beneficial to the role however not essential.

Applicants would be considered with backgrounds such as Retail Grocery or FMCG.
With excellent organisation and time management skills, you will be competent on Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint. You will have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, be able to work as a team player. The position is primarily a negotiating and purchasing role, so previous purchasing experience would be extremely advantageous.

Our client provides 4,500 high quality homes and services in Greater Manchester, but has a national reputation for effective community regeneration.

They are currently looking for an experienced Heating Engineer to join their Direct Labour Service (DLS). The key responsibility of this role will be to provide a maintenance service to the Group’s properties especially dealing with the annual gas servicing, breakdown and replacement.

Within this role you will be responsible for the servicing of all domestic heating systems and diagnosing faults in domestic heating and plumbing. You will carry out gas safety checks with boiler / central heating repairs and other associated plumbing repairs in the group’s managed properties. Within this role, you will also be responsible for supervising apprentices, training them to the standards expected and ensuring that they work in a safe and efficient manner.

The successful candidate for this role will have worked in a similar role previously and must hold an up to date A.C.O.P.S certificate as well as Gas Safe Registration. With experience of plumbing work on domestic systems and appliances you will ideally be experienced with commercial heating systems and have worked successfully in diagnosing faults whilst carrying out repairs and services.

The successful applicant will also need a full UK driving license and possess a full well maintained tool kit at all times.

Qualifications to gain include:

* Apprenticeship Level 2 NVQ in Warehousing and Storage

* Level 2 NVQ in Engineer Maintenance and Installation
* Variety of driving licences
* National Certificate in Building Studies and Computer Aided Design
* NVQ Level 2 in IT
* Level 5 Higher Diploma in Engineering Surveying





Qualifications required: Not all of these roles require any previous qualification. Some may require 2 GCSEs at C grade in English Language and Maths /Science/ICT.
