Finance Assistant

PromoVertitas are an independent promotional verification service whom have been established for over 10 years in London. They are now recruiting for a Finance Assistant to work 22 hours per week with the potential to increase to 30. The successful candidate will receive £20-23000 PA (full time equivalent, so applied pro-rata) depending on experience.

As a Finance Assistant, your key responsibilities will be:

- Maintain client records
- Raising purchase orders
- Inputting Cost invoices using the existing Enterprise System (Paprika)
- To prepare weekly bank reconciliation's for all bank accounts
- You’ll be responsible for the processing of employee expenses.  This will involve; obtaining and checking claims, allocating them to the correct projects, ensuring that VAT and nominal codes are correct, getting sign offs and presenting them for payment.
- You will support the Project Managers and Account Managers by checking estimates on Paprika and ensuring that all projects are correctly invoiced
- You will be required to take on additional duties such as general administrative duties as required by your line manager, and be expected to support them during periods of absence

To be successful in the role of Finance Assistant, you will have excellent communication skills, be a fast learner with a can-do attitude and have a hands on approach to work. You will also be energetic, be willing to work in a team and have the following skills and qualifications:

- Experience of using Paprika (the accounting system) is desirable but not essential
- Minimum of a Finance related degree or an AAT qualification
- Purchase ledger and debtor collection experience
- Minimum of three years Book keeping experience
- Planning and organisational skills
- Proactively take on responsibilities
