We now have a newly created vacancy of Sales Team Manager The Sales Team Manager role is to maximise sales and guest satisfaction by managing Room Reservations and the Conference and Events sales team. This small sales team receive, handle and process individual and group reservations as well as all meeting and event enquiries. They also participate in a number of trade fairs and events for both Bedruthan Hotel and Spa and our sister hotel the Scarlet. As part of their daily tasks, follow up calls are made to each and every incoming enquiry as well as handling follow up calls to marketing campaign members and guests who have expressed interest in other areas of our business. As Sales Team Manager you will need to be active in maintaining the already high conversion rates and continually monitoring the incoming calls, ensuring the high levels of guest service result in an increase in guest bookings. Working within a small team, you will be responsible for their training, development and coaching whilst supporting them in their day to day tasks. This role would be ideal for a current Reservations Manager looking to step into a more challenging role where you can demonstrate a flair for leadership and sales. A full time contract would be based on 40 hours per week over 5 days. The office is open 7 days a week from 8am until 9pm. The ability to build relationships, be results driven, have experience of sales or reservations management and a positive 'can do' attitude are prerequisites for this role. Our client is a Gold Standards Framework re-accredited nursing home (one of only 30 nationally) committed to high standards and progressive care that is rated Excellent (three stars) by the CQC. They have an opening for a highly motivated, flexible and dynamic Charge Nurse / Sister (RN) OR Preceptee 2 - 3 shifts per week (12 hour shifts) in their Nursing Home situated in Portscatho, Cornwall (TR2) 25 minutes from Truro.
The successful applicant will preferably have an NMC PIN Number. If no suitable candidates apply with a NMC PIN Number, they are prepared to train up a suitable candidate to NMC PIN.
Undergoing training to NMC PIN, the supervised practice period the salary per annum will be £16,110 over a 39 hours week. Once the NMC pin number is gained the salary will rise to £21,176 per annum.
In this role you must have the ability to work on your own or within a team within a nursing home environment. Must be able to prove that they can cope with the day to day challenges of a nurse's role and have excellent interpersonal skills. You will be working in an excellent rated Nursing home that provides care for the Elderly people. Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced disclosure.
