Key Job Functions:
* Ensure application and enforcement of all company policies and procedures (health & safety; quality; hygiene; etc.)

Requirements:
* Strong leadership skills with direct man-management experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably on shift. Must have demonstrable examples of developing team members.

* Results driven with a track record of making improvements
* Flexible with the ability to change track according to differing priorities
* Strong planning and scheduling skills

This wide-ranging role will drive our media and marketing work across fundraising, services and campaigns in Wales.

In addition, you will brief and prepare spokespeople for interview, advise and support community fundraisers, supporters and Macmillan professionals in their communications activities, deliver media and PR training wherever it is needed and manage interns and volunteers.

Whether gained as a journalist, in-house or with an agency, you have an extensive track record in communications work, including experience of planning and delivering PR campaigns using a variety of media tools and with real creativity and flair. You know what makes a good story and have been successful in writing releases, establishing excellent relationships with the media and selling-in to secure wide-ranging press coverage. You must also have experience of the use of new media in PR work.
