We are seeking to recruit a leader for this important new integrated service.

Rhondda Cynon Taf and Merthyr Tydfil are combining two high performing and effective Youth Offending Services (YOS) to create the regional Cwm Taf YOS.

Established over the last twelve years and supported by the positive commitment of all local partners (health, local authority, police, probation, voluntary sector) Rhondda Cynon Taf and Merthyr Tydfil YOS have contributed towards significant reductions in youth crime.

Building on existing strengths, you will be responsible for the delivery of innovative, sustainable and high quality services to children, young people, families, victims and communities across the CwmTaf area.

As leader of this new combined, already high performing, effective and well regarded service you will enjoy leading fully staffed teams headed by well
established, experienced Team Managers. The post holder will benefit from being part of an experienced and supportive senior management team.

Cwm Taf is a beautiful area of the country. Situated just north of Cardiff and including part of the Brecon Beacons National Park, this is a great place to live
and work. Based in Treforest, you will be responsible for the valleys of Rhondda, Cynon Taf and the County Borough of Merthyr Tydfil. Here you will find strong
and diverse communities committed to improving the lives of their children and young people. This is reflected by a positive partnership environment within the area.
