Based within the College's Apprenticeships Team, the Tutor will contribute to the development of new courses, undertaking tutorials, either one to one or group tutorial sessions, and assist with recruitment by interviewing, enrolling and inducting students. You must carry out all necessary administration related to the teaching programme and contribute to the teaching of the related curriculum, participating in the extra curricular activities of the section.

In addition, you will also be involved in client liaison and the development of resources to suit the needs of the Retail industry.

The successful Retail Tutor must have a teaching/assessing qualification (as appropriate) coupled with a subject specialist level 4 qualification, or level 5 new standards with a commitment to obtain the relevant outstanding qualification within a specified timescale. With a creative approach to teaching and curriculum planning, you must have the ability to establish appropriate relationships with students and also be able to demonstrate good organisational and administrative skills.
