Our client is a long established and growing family run jewellery wholesale business. This is an interesting and varied role offers the right candidate the opportunity to gain a broad experience in the industry. The initial responsibilities of the role include:
Ensuring sales reps stocks are continually replenished.
Preparing stock for hallmarking
Barcode and physical control of stocks
Follow up on stock sent to customers on approval
Preparing and collating images of stock for a comprehensive stock database
Updating web details on exhibition websites and brochures
Manage and maintain a company website and develop skills over time to provide creative input to the site design.
Checking goods are in stock or ordered to fill customer demands
Processing customer orders
While these are the main responsibilities of the role, as it is part of a small, close knit team, the ideal candidate should have a willingness to learn and assist in other areas of the day to day operations of the business.
The company is willing to support and encourage development of its staff through further education and training relevant to the role.
Candidates must be computer literate with good Excel and Word skills, familiarity with web design and/or jewellery would be an advantage.
