One of the UK’s leading independent professional services companies is currently looking to recruit an intelligent Office Junior for their Housing Benefit Investigations Team in London. With over 4000 partners and staff across 58 offices generating a fee income of over £350 million, you would be joining one of the 3 principal mid-market accountancy firms at a particularly exciting time
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious school leaver to begin their career within a respected market leading business. Through a team of Fraud specialists the company offer an expert investigations service to local councils and housing authorities. Your role would entail providing a high standard of administrative and clerical support to the Housing Benefit Fraud Investigation Team, helping to determine whether criminal offences have occurred.
You will be tasked with analysing and inputting data, maintaining office systems, filing and archiving records and raising invoices, plus on occasion accompanying an Investigator on visits. You will also be expected to complete ad hoc tasks as and when required.
The ideal candidate for the role will be an ambitious and intelligent school leaver with strong grades at GCSE as a minimum (Maths and English Grade C or above essential). You will be an analytical and inquisitive individual, able to demonstrate an open mind and the ability to think laterally. You will be confident and numerate with strong communication skills, self-motivated, able to work equally effectively alone or as part of a team, with good IT skills.
