The role will be to enhance the technical delivery capability of a complex yet sophisticated browser-enabled Java solution. It offers a complete end-to-end solution, from initial contact, through assessment and care planning, to commissioning and payments.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Oracle 10g, 11g Database installation, administration, and performance tuning
- SQL Server 2005/2008 DBA skills (highly desirable but not essential)
- Oracle Application Server (OAS 10.1.3), WebLogic 11g, 12c and Apache
- Experience with database backup, restore and DR
- Database and Application server performance monitoring and analysis
- Remote support, including the management of private cloud environments
- Occasional on-site installations
- Promoting the development of best practices and updating of internal documentation
- Keeping up to date with new software and technology in relevant areas
- Working with product owners and developers
- Assisting with design of internal, external and hosted hardware solutions for Corelogic products
- Owning, tracking and resolving incidents and service requests
- Reviewing service related reports (database backups, maintenance, monitoring) on a rota basis to ensure service related issues are identified and resolved within established
- Responding to database related issuesescalations and working with development teams to come up with solutions to recurring problems
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Cross platform admin skills including scripting (Linux highly desirable)

Essential skills:
- At least 5 years of experience in database administration of Oracle and be OCP certified.
- SQL Server DBA skills are highly desirable; however on the job training will enable development in this area.
- Experience of administering enterprise level Java systems and a good knowledge of Networking, Linux, Solaris and Microsoft Operating systems.
- Previous experience in WebLogic Server and/or Oracle Internet Application Server, cloud computing, virtualization and high availability technologies is highly desirable.

Job Role:

Your Main Duties and Responsibilities will be:

* Providing support and answering queries from internal and external customers.
* Updating and maintaining contractual/Pricing/accommodation information on all systems.
* Checking invoice calculations both manually and online.
* General administration duties.

The Ideal Candidate:

The role within the Product Inventory department is very responsible and requires a high degree of concentration and use of initiative. Candidates are working on essentially a "live" database, so experience in attention to detail and working accurately and methodically are necessary qualities for the role. Ideally with previous experience of working within a database input department within travel. Knowledge of setting up and creating databases is not required, but experience of working with computers and having familiarity with a number of systems (particularly MS Excel and preferably Access) would be advantageous.
