THE ROLE

You will be employed as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant working within the Leisure industry. The Leisure industry is less saturated than other recruitment markets such as IT and Finance, this means that there is more opportunity to deal with major clients from day one and progress as a rapid rate whilst making enormous commission.

My client is depending on money hungry, ambitious, hardworking, articulate graduates to help expand their business. They have a Graduate Training Scheme in place where you will receive both one on one and group based training over the first 3 months of your career to enable you to have the best start possible. You will be dealing with candidates and clients from day one - this is a very practical job and you need to be prepared to take on allot of responsibility quickly.

BENEFITS

The rewards on offer are amazing - Basic salaries start from £22,000 and with commission you should be looking to earn in excess of £40,000 in your first year. As well as the money there are shares available for all employee's with increasing amounts as you progress through the company. Opportunity to move abroad to Dubai, New York.

Key Competencies required for role:

Established IT network management skills
Detailed knowledge of MAYTAS and other learner management and CRM systems
Detailed knowledge of SFA ILR data requirements and validation
Ability work with third party SQL databases e.g. MAYTAS and exchange data between different systems
Advanced application system skills, especially Excel, Access and implementation of CRM systems
Data mining and warehousing experience
Ability to understand and install major new programs unsupervised
Excellent levels of communication written and verbal

Resilient and tenacious, flexible and adaptable, attention to detail

Educational Attainments:

You would be tasked with supporting PR activity across the business, creating high calibre press releases, and articles, supporting activities around corporate reputation and crisis communications as required, plus supporting business development programmes.

You would be expected to develop strong relationships with key journalists as well as company spokespeople, and will also work with the Online Manager to ensure the company website and social media platforms are used to support all public relations. You will also be tasked with monitoring all PR activity, filing and distributing press coverage, plus other ad-hoc support tasks as required.

You will be based out of the company’s London office however national travel will be required on occasion.

The ideal candidate will be an intelligent, confident and commercially-minded PR professional. Agency or in-house experience will both be considered, while a demonstrable interest in and understanding of the professional or financial services industries would be an advantage. You will either be studying for the CIPR qualification or able to demonstrate an interest in beginning the cours..

You will be a creative and well organised individual with excellent communication skills, with particularly strong copywriting and editing skills, plus excellent attention to detail. You must have experience prioritising a varied workload and working to deadline.
