A Trainee Accountant is required to join a UK employee owned business providing a high quality engineering capability within the marine environment.

- Where necessary, assist the Finance Controller, Finance Manager and Management Accountant

Applicants must have some of working in a small/medium sized Finance department. Ideally this will have been in an engineering or project centred environment.

The desired skill set is:-

- Part qualified ACCA or CIMA
- Degree qualified or NVQ educated to a similar standard
- Must be proficient in use of Excel and ideally will have experience of finance software packages such as Opera or Sage
- Excellent communications skills as you will be liaising with non-Finance staff
- A proactive, can-do attitude
- Ability to work at pace
- Attention to detail
