Our client, a well established, thriving company offering geotechnical drainage solutions on a national basis to many of today's leading insurers, is expanding to accommodate new client wins.

They seek a recent graduate who has studied the built environment (e.g. building surveyor, civil engineer etc.) and is familiar with CAD and the report writing process.

There will be an opportunity for Surveyors to begin their APC.

This is a permanent full time position with a starting salary between £17,000 - £20,000.

The successful applicant will be a pro-active and confident individual with excellent attention to detail and a solid grounding in the built environment. You will responsible for drafting reports and proposing remedial works following site investigations for subsidence and drainage insurance claims. You will liaise with their external engineers on a daily basis to ensure that you have interpreted their findings correctly and to ensure that any further works or repairs that you are recommending are feasible and then scoped and specified accordingly. You will deal directly with their client's Loss Adjusters, Surveyors and Engineers to provide an exceptional technical service and product.

Working within a fast-paced technical team environment the successful candidate will have a can do positive attitude with problem solving skills.

You will report directly to the Managing Director who is a Chartered Structural Engineer.

The position will be based in their head office in Wallasey, the hours will be 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

We are currently looking to recruit a Building Fabric Manager to manage, develop and lead a team of both in house resources and specialist sub-contractors in the building fabric maintenance and repair services to the client portfolio. This is a permanent role paying £32k - £34k pa + vehicle

RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the delivery of reactive maintenance and small works requirements in accordance with schedules and SLAs.
Management of a Customer Services Team and a Small Works team, self-delivery of facilities services across a number of sites.
Management of directly employed Maintenance Assistants in their provision of facilities services across the sites.
Advising on industry standards of maintenance, repair and refurbishment
Day to day management of the multi-site operation ensuring Client and internal service level agreements and key performance indicator targets are met

Responsible for management of relevant budgets ensuring effective control of costs and income

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Candidates should have a minimum of five years previous experience gained within a construction or maintenance environment.

* Excellent proven knowledge of; Contracting sector processes, contract format / obligations, Buildability Project Management, Quantity Surveying, ISO Accreditation, BREEAM, BIM and Considerate Constructors procedures and processes.
* A excellent understanding and usage of IT and usage of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite is essential and an understanding of Conquest would be advantageous.
* Hold Professional / Academic qualification either through formal qualification or proven sector wide experience; preferably both.
