Required Skills & Experience:
• Siebel UCM Administration experience
• Perl and shell Scripting, Automation (using any workflow engine / orchestrator) experience is MUST
• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot Siebel UCM environments on UNIX platform.
• Experience in managing large Siebel production landscape 8..x
• Very good understanding of the Siebel architecture. Knowledge of UNIX scripting.
• Experience in Siebel Server Installation, Siebel Server Configuration, Siebel Upgrades, Code Migrations and Patch Management
• Troubleshoot production and non-production issues and if required, work with Oracle support

Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for performing Admin activities like installing, monitoring the Siebel UCM /OCH Application Servers, Running Database Extracts, Monitoring logs
• Creating users, password resets, Export / Import repositories between environments for new code releases + DDL Synch
• Responsible for Application Deployment Activities
• Responsible for coordinating with development/testing/deployment team for any deployment Activities
• Work with development and test team
• Support the teams on development and testing efforts, help with admin area where required.
• Plan for future environment preparation tasks with client technology lead / project lead based on project timelines.
• Design, implement and Support backup and recovery functions for Siebel UCM application
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance Location

We are creating a new part-time position of Area Credit Controller, which will be based at our Leeds shop. Working 25 hours a week, this person will be responsible for managing both outstanding debt and overdue credit for our large Northern shops- Leeds, Sheffield, Liverpool and Manchester. In addition, they will be expected to support our other smaller Northern bookshops.

Role Definition:
Reporting to Shop Manager this position has overall accountability for managing the credit risk relating to invoiced sales for the shops and for the collection of outstanding credits from suppliers.
This position also has responsibility for liaising with customers and suppliers to ensure a very high level of customer service and to assist managing the cash flow of the business by recovering debt effectively as possible.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Accountability of the daily credit control duties including contacting customers, query resolution, and admin.
Liaison with the suppliers and customers to ensure debt is collected within terms wherever possible and the necessary actions taken to ensure a high level of customer service as well as debt recovery.
Review existing procedures and suggest improvements to the credit control processes.
Assist with cash allocation
Preparation of reporting for central finance
Preparation and distribution of Dunning letters and statements.
Work with the internal auditors to ensure high level of corporate governance.

Skills & Experience Required:
Prior experience of credit control.
Good knowledge of Excel and good knowledge of Word.
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
Good interaction skills, comfortable in working with senior management and confident in upward feedback as well as downward
Planning and organisational skills
Self-starter with confidence to take the initiative and make things happen.
