A Young Offenders Institute in North West Kent is looking for an experienced and qualified Supply Teacher who wants to help troubled young people aged 15-18.

You will be able to see beyond their behaviour and find new ways to connect and teach them. We are interested in hearing from Supply Teachers of all disciplines, but in particular those specialising in Literacy, Numeracy, Functional Skills, PSHE, ICT and Vocational subjects such as Construction Trades or Business Studies. Main responsibilities

Day-to-day tasks

• drawing up competition landing pages
• writing micro-content for commercial banners and buttons

Required skills

Candidates for consideration will need to be able to demonstrate:

A clear, concise writing style
• A keen eye for detail
• An understanding of the principles of headline writing and SEO
• Experience of working in a Content Management System

The Trust employs over 4,200 staff with most services provided from two main acute hospitals

The Clinical Fellow s will have 2 dedicated protected special interest sessions per week (2 half days) & will have a responsibility of supporting the Obstetrics and Gynaecology team. Additionally the post holders will take part in the on-call rota (1:8). Responsibilities will also include the supervision of junior staff and involvement in a regular teaching programme as well as participating in weekly meetings and monthly audit meetings.

The specialist interest of the Fellows could be in any of the following specialist areas:

Laparoscopy / advanced endometriosis, hysteroscopy, colposcopy, early pregnancy scanning, urogynaecology, maternal medicine, labour ward, medical education including advanced surgical simulation in the ICENI centre

The NHS department also enjoys close links with the University of East Anglia Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and opportunities to participate in research may be available to suitable applicants
