We require an experienced Smart Repairer for Automotive Company based in Killingholme, N.E Lincolnshire.

Our client has committed significant investment to a holistic company-wide improvement programme based on the implementation of the Company Asset Management Framework (CAMF). They are seeking to establish a corporate team to drive forward implementation. This high profile change process requires tenacious consultants to be based at Port Talbot, South Wales and Scunthorpe, South Yorkshire.
As key part of this progressive investment these change consultants will be integral in the development, delivery and evolution of the Company Asset Management Framework (CAMF). The programme will cover the entire lifetime of the asset, inclusive of study design build, “in use” operation and decommissioning.
The consultants will be vital in the implementation and management of a series of business processes, which have been developed to deliver clear benefits in process and output, including: Operational efficiency; Minimised asset downtime; Reduction in incidents relating to health and safety, and Process optimisation and dissemination of best practice.
Alongside this, the framework has also successfully produced a mode of discourse and common understanding or language. Processes within the CAMF include but are not limited to: Equipment performance; Maintenance cost control; Failure reduction; Managing shutdown; Contractor management; Scheduled maintenance; Maintenance concept development; Managing emerging work, and Supplier management.
The change consultant will require the ability to fully understand and analyse current practise, before going about a course of action. At times this will require innovation, with a consultative approach to adaption of the set framework, and the ability to deliver change through a multitude of forms, such as a training schemes, management courses or seminars.
You will have gained experienced in change management in the field of maintenance, specific experience in leading at least one successful plant-based change project. Your change experience is likely to be embedded in significant experience in a maintenance/engineering career to date. You will have the ability to handle a complex organisational environment and able to simplify complex issues and make them concrete.
You will be able to demonstrate good project management skills, the ability to engage and communicate effectively at various levels in the organisation from director to shop floor.

Our client is now looking for motivated candidates to join the 5 year Electrical or Mechanical Engineer training programme. The first 3 years, our client will train you to be a qualified craftsperson to NVQ level 3 in your chosen discipline (Mechanical or Electrical). The final two years will be on a dedicated programme within the engineering environment whilst completing your BEng level degree in your chosen discipline.
During years 2 and 3, alongside completing your NVQ level 3, you will complete a number of placements in different departments. During this time you’ll learn all about engineering in your chosen discipline. As you move around you’ll gain lots of hands on practical experience, get the chance to speak to different people and discover how the company works and the many different career paths available to you, as well as progressing your academic qualifications.
To be successful, you will have or expect to achieve a minimum of 3 A Levels (to include Maths, and Science at Grade C or above) supported by at least 3 GCSE's at Grade C or above in Maths, Science & English. As well as gaining this great practical experience in engineering, you will learn key skills such as communication, nutrition, the ins and outs of housing and managing your money, as well as vital work abilities such as IT, getting the most from training and working as a team.
Your initial training will be based at Scunthorpe. Your Higher Education (HNC/HND) will commence on joining, with most of the course delivered locally on a day release basis.
