The Role: Our Client is a leading audio-visual collaboration organisation specialising in the delivery and support of videoconferencing and interactive presentation solutions to both public and private sector organisations.

This role will involve working on projects as part of a team or independently from the start to completion, achieving sign off. You will report to the project manager whilst on site and deliver the job to the documented specification.

More experienced engineers will be expected to act as senior engineer on site and provide both remote and on-site support and leadership to our team of Installation and Support AV Engineers, technicians and project managers.

Flexibility in working patterns and some overnight stays are essential as you will attend site installations throughout the UK and occasionally overseas.

Location:

Hours: Normal hours of work are 37.5 hours on 5 days per week. Overtime is paid if there is a requirement to work additional hours to meet the needs of the business.

Essential

·Technical skills and understanding of VC solutions and IT network infrastructures.

·Prior experience in field based VC/AV engineering within an audio visual/unified communications and/or IT networking environment - installing, testing and commissioning audio and video technologies from first fix to end of job sign off.

·Experience of field based AV/VC maintenance (break/fix)

·A clear understanding of Immersive Telepresence, Desktop Telepresence, audio and video systems and their related network infrastructure.

·An understanding of systems integration with IP networks and existing IT systems

Roast Group Coffee Machine Maintenance Engineer

As part of the national field maintenance team you will be responding to re-active and planned service calls across primarily on our more specialist roast and ground equipment but also on their equipment within our entire estate. This will include working on 3 phase equipment for the speciality coffee market, in addition to some vending machines and to a lesser extent on chilled cabinets. You will be undertaking complex preventative maintenance work and preparing equipment for external assessment for pressurised vessel testing/boiler inspections.

Alongside your formal training and/or previous experience, together with the outstanding levels of training provided by the company you will be expected to diagnose and fix all types of faults (working to component level) - ensuring our Customers equipment is repaired within our agreed service levels.

Main Duties:

* Respond to re-active service calls on equipment
* Execute installations and Customer training on newly installed equipment
* Carry out preventative/routine maintenance on equipment
* Liaise with Customer and company call centre staff to ensure everyone is kept informed

Essential Skills & Experience:

* Thorough electrical knowledge including experience and confidence of working on 3 phase equipment
* Thorough mechanical knowledge (including experience of hydraulics)
* Ability to read and understand circuit & hydraulic diagrams and schematics
* Good knowledge & understanding of coffee and the culture of this sector
* Barista trained to C&G certification level
* Deciding and managing on site swap outs of speciality coffee equipment where appropriate (for workshop overhaul)
* Knowledge of all payments systems - cash or cashless
* Accurate fault finding to component level (eg; operational component).
* Basic understanding of refrigeration principles.
* Full understanding of safe working practices & H&S requirements
* Full clean driving license
* Confidence in communicating with Customers
* Basic food hygiene certificate (handling and working with fresh milk)
