The Role

· To research new & existing conference ideas, assess their feasibility, and write innovative & interesting conference programmes based upon research conducted.

· To invite & confirm high-level speakers to participate in the programmes produced.

· To establish strong contacts within the sectors that you work.

· To liaise with other departments & provide guidance on sales and marketing campaigns as well as event logistics.

· To write strong sales & marketing copy in a number of different formats throughout the course of an event’s marketing campaign.

· To prepare all materials and design briefs for direct mail pieces, including the conference brochure, to strict deadlines, making sure all information is accurate and appealing

· To provide guidance on follow-up correspondence required with speakers.

· To maintain good, frequent contact with speakers confirmed, to ensure their attendance on the day.

· To ensure the quality and accuracy of Conference Documentation.

· To ensure smooth running of conference on the day, introduce & ‘host’ the event, and to try to meet all participants’ needs



The Person





· Fluent Russian and English – ideally both excellent written and spoken language

· Will consider either an experienced producer or a strong candidate with no conference experience but with at least 1 year’s experience in a commercial environment (preferably a related sector).

· Strong research & analytical skills

· Team player

· Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

· Good computer skills

· Willing/able to travel to Russia/CIS as & when required

· MUST be eligible to work in the UK.
