* Survey engineer

Your input is vital in large-scale building projects. You’ll map out the site before work starts, using GPS technology to ensure the site is set out correctly to plan.



Qualifications to gain include:

* Apprenticeship Level 2 NVQ in Warehousing and Storage
* Foundation Modern Apprenticeship (FMA)
* Level 2 NVQ in Engineer Maintenance and Installation
* Variety of driving licences
* National Certificate in Building Studies and Computer Aided Design
* NVQ Level 2 in IT
* Level 5 Higher Diploma in Engineering Surveying





Qualifications required: Not all of these roles require any previous qualification. Some may require 2 GCSEs at C grade in English Language and Maths /Science/ICT.

Job Role:

The Site Support Engineer must be quality driven and customer focused with technical ability to repair and maintain the company's equipment both at the bedside and back office.

* Management of escalated faults to ensure fixes are completed in a timely manner, and that downtime is minimal.
* Effective management and handling of any customer complaints, including escalation where applicable.
* Refreshing of all bedside units that are visited
* Management & maintenance of all equipment and ward consumable stock levels to ensure the correct levels of stock are in place.
* Management and maintenance of site POS/literature as per company levels/standard procedures
* Management of 3rd party suppliers in relation to the company's products on site

Skills / Experience Required:

* RF data networks and TV distribution systems.
* CAT 5 and Fibre data networks
* Server and PC hardware/software in a Microsoft/Linux networking environment
* Analogue and digital/VOIP telephone networks
* TCP/IP network fundamentals including working with Windows software configurations

Skills / Experience Desired:

* MCSE/MCDST (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer/Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician)
* Experience of working with Vending machines and Payphones
* 3rd/4th Edition Electrical

" Liaising with the sales team and ordering required kit for jobs. Pre-configuration & testing equipment in advance of on-site engineer installations.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified and experienced Avaya IP Office Engineer to join a dynamic telecoms company in a key and mainly office based role with some field engineering responsibilities. The successful candidate will be a strong team player, have excellent communication and administration skills and be well presented in the office and on-site.
