Lyndon School has been knocking down walls and created a new library and resource area. This is currently empty and the school needs an enthusiastic person to equip and develop this space. Literacy is a key component of our School Development Plan.

• Responsible for the management, development and promotion of the school’s library and associated resources to ensure that all students and staff have access to a broad and relevant range of reading materials in order to support the teaching and learning throughout the school, facilitate independent learning and encourage reading for pleasure.
• The successful candidate will have a genuine rapport with teenagers and a passion for promoting and sharing literacy. Experience of working in a library is not essential and support and training will be available.
• To raise standards of achievement for all our students.
• To support school policies, routines and codes of conduct and to support the
ethos of the school.
