Applications are invited by a small established SSAIB accredited security company looking to appoint a Security Systems Engineer as part of its continued growth.
Responsibilities include responding to customer calls which have been logged by the Service department, carrying out planned periodic maintenance to contracted sites and installations at various locations across London and the Home Counties. You will also be required to form part of the out-of-hours call-out rota.
Ideal candidates will have experience of large integrated security systems including analogue and IP CCTV, access control, intruder detection and related systems. They should also hold a City and Guild or NVQ qualification in Electronic Engineering (or equivalent) and a full valid driving licence.

A Systems engineer (Xen App, Xen Desktop, VM Ware) is required by leading Online booking company; they are looking for a confident and social character with passion for quality delivery as well as experience working in a Citrix XenApp/Desktop & Virtualised (VM Ware) environment. The Systems Engineer (Xen App, Xen Desktop, VM ware) will be working in a team whom are really laid back and fun; but also deliver.

The company are primarily in the web space but unlike the majority of their competitors the environment is not ridgid at all, nor are they tied down by looming deadlines or heavy characters. The 60+ UK team operate in a fancy new building in the heart of the City. The environment is fresh and lively but they also really know how to drive & get results.

Acting as a Global Liaison, the new Systems engineer (Xen App, Xen Desktop, VM Ware) will be a liaison between EMEA and the rest of the world. This being the case, the Systems Engineer's (Xen App, Xen Desktop, Datacentre, Infrastructure ) ability to understand technical concepts fluidly & concisely to those of a less technical nature.

In terms of tech, these guys run Citrix XenApp 6.5 and Desktop 6.0 within a Virtualised environment (VM Ware). This being the case experience with Citrix & VM Ware is key. Being able to understand and explain datacentre infrastructure is a plus as well as core infrastructure systems (Exchange, Active Directory). Scripting is a plus either VB or PowerShell.

This Systems Engineer's (Xen App, Xen Desktop, VM Ware) will be working in their head office as well as their datacentre; therefore experience of working within a datacentre environment would put you on good stead.

A leading data management company, based in the City, are currently looking for a talented Systems Engineer to join an existing team due to the ever increasing use of their online database. The position has arisen as the company are in need for a IIS and SQL specialist to be able to host web applications, within a live environment using IIS and to be able to tweak the back end; which is predominately SQL based.

The successful engineer will hit the ground running with the day to day support of two sites - one based in the city and the other around 30 miles away. In terms of the workload, this is very varied from the administration/configuration of SQL Server, the hosting of web applications in to a live environment using IIS as well as dealing with issues arising out of Active Directory.

The most important part of this role is IIS - you MUST have experience hosting/configuring IIS and more specifically hosting applications (with a SQL back end) using IIS. Knowledge of Active Directory would be useful as would basic Networking Fundamental knowledge. It must be stressed that this is a technical role, and as such the ability to demonstrate working knowledge of the above technologies is key for successfully gaining this role.

The opportunity would suit someone from a web application background whom has very good knowledge with IIS and SQL. If you have worked in a .NET environment and have hosted SQL Back-ended applications, using IIS then this really is the right role for you. A passion for a web environment is vital here as the company really invest in their staff development and are really passionate about their work.
