Experience and knowledge of the following are all essential elements of this role:

- ISO18001 Health and Safety, ISO14001 Environmental standards.

- CAD / CAM programming of CNC machines.

- Working knowledge of AS9100 / TS16949 / ISO9001.

- Project management.

- Customer liaison.

- Jig and tool design.

- Understanding value streams.

- 6 Sigma, Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing Techniques.

In addition to an understanding of materials, treatments, costs etc.

The successful applicant will have a working history of production engineering with proven skills and experience, particularly with the programming of aerospace type components using Edgecam or Siemens NX CAM systems.

About the role

* Works closely with the acquisition, retention and pricing teams in particular to ensure we operate as 1 team.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a marketing function having a basic understanding of project management/support. You will also have a proven reputation for consistently delivering excellence while working as a team and be an excellent problem solver. In addition to this you will need to be flexible and work under pressure, as well as strong communication skills and an ability to prioritise.
