The Software Support Engineer Opportunity:
We are offering exciting opportunities for suitably qualified and motivated individuals. This position is to support product development, testing and delivery of our innovative Mobile Applications which are used by many of the world's leading mobile network operators.
You will be based in Horsham working with an entrepreneurial ICT company that delivers best in class software solutions to mobile network operators. We are suppliers to some of the biggest operator brands in the world (Vodafone, Orange) and have an international customer base which includes Africa and the Middle East. The company is characterised by its passion for new technology and a ‘can do’ attitude. You will learn and gain domain expertise knowledge of our web based technologies and support the business in various areas.
Software Support Engineer Core responsibilities will include:
» Providing outstanding customer service as part of the 1st/2nd line support team
» Managing Customer Support Tickets from Customers within EMEA region via email and phone
» Troubleshooting technical issues from clients and provide resolutions
» Liaising with international teams to report on issues and maintain the quality of our software globally
» Working with Account Managers to ensure software delivery to clients
» Answering internal enquiries of a technical and account related nature
» Product testing of new features and capabilities
You will need to be enthusiastic, committed and with a desire to become a key player within a fast growing, cutting-edge technology business. The role would suit candidates who love technology and are always keen to have the latest mobile phones and tablets.
Software Support Engineer Must-have Requirements:
» Fluent written & spoken English skills
» Studying or completed a relevant degree (IT, telecoms, electronic engineering)
» Good IT and problem solving skills
» Willing to learn
» Team player
» Good communication and interpersonal skills
» Applicant should already have legal right to work in UK
» Any database experience (SQL)
» Knowledge of any Geographic Information System
» Previous experience will be an advantage though not essential
» An interest or knowledge of telecoms, mobile networks
» Development of any software applications for any smart-phones
» Passion for technology

Salary: £18,000 - £25,000 annual salary (performance-related)
