The main purpose of this role is to deliver day to day repairs, voids, programmes and adaptations services to customers ensuring their satisfaction, high standards and quality. Within this role your main responsibilities will include carrying out work to individual properties and communal areas (basic plumbing, tiling, plastering decorating, renewing gates, posts and fencing), undertaking pre and post inspections on repairs and organising a work schedule in conjunction with your line manager, fully utilising relevant IT systems. You will also be expected to ensure all complaints and requests are responded to, record and document work activities and complete worksheets, daily logs, timesheets and holiday cards and take responsibility for the supervision and training of an apprentice where appropriate.

The successful candidate will have worked within a similar role previously and will have a good standard of general education along with NVQ Level 2 in Maintenance Operations. It would be advantageous for you to be health and safety trained, apprenticeship trained, hold a C&G certificate in a maintenance related trade and a CSCS Card. You will have experience of maintenance / responsive repairs and customer service experience along with having experience of using a PDA (handheld computer) or similar. You will be highly organised and proactive and will understand the importance of carrying out tasks to the best of your ability, remaining professional at all times. It is essential that you are an excellent communicator who can work well as part of a team and you must hold a full UK driving licence (preferably clean).
