Their range of low energy LED luminaires can be utilised across a wide spectrum of applications, whether in the workplace, education, healthcare, retail or industry and they now have a vacancy in their IT Department.
Heading up the IT department, this role will be to fully manage the computer systems, including servers, network, email etc. A key part of this role will be to assist with the migration to a new ERP system and ensure the current IT infrastructure will support the migration. You will ensure the smooth running of all IT systems, including anti virus software, print services, email provision and disaster recovery and also ensure that software licensing laws are fully adhered to. You will review and evaluate the current system and make recommendations where necessary and have the ability to evaluate user needs and system functionality.
To be successful in the role you will need to have at least 2 years experience in a similar role preferably with experience of SQL server/writing scripts for analysis and transfer of data in SQL. You must have experience of IT systems planning & development as well as project planning & management skills. You will need sound IT infrastructure knowledge (both hardware and software) with a good working knowledge of network systems including internet, Wi-Fi and cloud based systems. You must be a hand’s on individual, who is self driven, able to use your own initiative to deliver results but also able to work with and support a large team.
