Due to increased business levels my client is recruiting for a field based Account Manager to join their busy team. Primarily working either from home or the Stoke office, the successful candidate will live in the Staffordshire area, travelling to the company head office in Derbyshire weekly.
Key duties will include the following: • Initially undertaking dual customer visits with the Site Manager • Account managing existing customer base, ensuring all customer needs are addressed • Regular site visits to upsell and trouble shoot with customers • Researching and approaching potential new customers • Developing all customer contacts to ensure maximum sales • Responsible for generation of own leads
Key skills and experience required: • Sales/account management background • Experience within maintenance/light construction/engineering essential • Tenacious and self motivated • Able to plan own day and manage time effectively

Reporting to the Senior Estimator an opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and reliable individual with proven Main Contractor Estimating experience and excellent interpersonal skills to work in our busy Estimating department. The successful applicant will be required to process, evaluate, manage, co-ordinate, measure, cost and conclude tenders, supporting both our Public and Private Sector clients.
* Excellent proven knowledge of; Contracting sector processes, contract format / obligations, Buildability and Construction Estimating procedures and processes. * Proficient in usage of Conquest and Microsoft Office Suite. * Develop costs from first principals through to tender adjudication stage. * Hold relevant construction qualification or proven sector wide experience; preferably both. * Experience in tendering for both New Build and Refurbishment projects up to £8m. * Experience of Design and Build * Experience of BREEAM and other sustainable building methodologies is desirable, together with the ability to develop and manage cost plans and work as part of an integrated team with BIM . * Possess a high level of motivation and organisation. * A full UK driving licence

Heating Engineer / Gas Engineer Manchester Salary £29,376 per annum
Our client provides 4,500 high quality homes and services in Greater Manchester, but has a national reputation for effective community regeneration.
They are currently looking for an experienced Heating Engineer to join their Direct Labour Service (DLS). The key responsibility of this role will be to provide a maintenance service to the Group’s properties especially dealing with the annual gas servicing, breakdown and replacement.
Within this role you will be responsible for the servicing of all domestic heating systems and diagnosing faults in domestic heating and plumbing. You will carry out gas safety checks with boiler / central heating repairs and other associated plumbing repairs in the group’s managed properties. Within this role, you will also be responsible for supervising apprentices, training them to the standards expected and ensuring that they work in a safe and efficient manner.
The successful candidate for this role will have worked in a similar role previously and must hold an up to date A.C.O.P.S certificate as well as Gas Safe Registration. With experience of plumbing work on domestic systems and appliances you will ideally be experienced with commercial heating systems and have worked successfully in diagnosing faults whilst carrying out repairs and services.
