We are looking for a well presented team player to work as part of a small team in a busy warehouse on Whitebirk Ind Estate in Blackburn. You will be involved in moving stock around mechanically, manually, packing and preparing orders for shipment and carrying out all orders effectively. You will be physically fit and able to lift and move heavy packages and objects. You will have a meticulous and efficient work ethic and attention to detail. Part time : 4-5 hours per day, Monday – Friday.

Duties will include:
-Receiving, moving, checking and storing incoming goods.
-Checking and inspecting goods received and ensuring they are of accurate quantity and type.
-Picking , packaging and labelling products before they are dispatched
-Selecting space for storage and arranging for goods to be placed in the designated areas.
-Making sure that all inventory processes are completed on the same day.
-Loading and unloading lorries, vans and other vehicles.
-Maintaining warehouse tools.
-Labelling goods that have arrived at the warehouse.
-Operating a forklift will be an advantage.
-Moving and organising stock.
-Ensuring a clean and safe area for staff to work in.
-Storing stock away safely.
-Removing hazardous products from the warehouse.

The ideal Commercial Analyst will be educated to A-level or degree standard and ideally have experience of working in the retail industry either in a merchandising or financial role. You will also have advanced excel skills, knowledge and experience of Access, ability to prioritise and organise and the ability to communicate effectively.
