Qualifications to gain include:

Key Job Functions:

Precise, consistent work output is essential requiring patience and a willingness to handle and completing tasks to required deadlines in line with the specifications provided and have an awareness of health and safety requirements.

Our client is looking for an experienced individual from a technical/electrical engineering environment. You will be full conversant with High Voltage electrical engineering. Ideally, you will be a time-served apprentice with qualifications at or leading to Degree level in Electrical Engineering. The successful individual will need to have a pro-active and disciplined attitude to this specialised role.

- To deliver plant improvement projects, including SRE expenditure, to time and on budget (batteries/battery charger replacements, mercury arc rectifier replacements, transformer integrity etc)

This role requires an individual who is qualified to Degree level in Electrical Engineering but also has specialist knowledge of High Voltage, communication and distribution systems. The candidate must have experience in heavy industry and in a High Voltage or similar role. Ideally, you will be a time-served apprentice and must be able to demonstrate an aptitude for proactive problem solving and possess communication and organisational skills.
